THE TITLES OF YAHWEH Many Titles But Only One Name

To say that Yahweh’s titles are His names is an error and does justice neither to His role nor to His Sacred Name.
Let us analyse the titles and the name of the Creator in an objective manner, without reference to the stereotypical concepts of Christianity or modern Judaism but rather using the ancient Judaism of the ancient Hebrew people as our reference.
Being that the Creator gave the revelation EXCLUSIVELY to the Hebrew people, the titles and the Name of the Creator, obviously, must be in Hebrew.  The translations that have been made of those titles have been adequate in some cases and inadequate in others. Let us look at them one by one.

YHWHיהוה (Yahweh) is the unique and personal name of the Creator in the Kitvei Hakodesh (Sacred Scriptures).
Unfortunately, in some traditional versions it has been substituted for the word ‘Lord’, which has nothing to do with the name of  יהוה . ‘Lord’ was only used in recognition of the baalim (pagan gods). It is used 7,000 in the Kitvei HaKodesh and it is the  personal distinctive and  name of the Creator. The Greek scholars call it ‘Tetragramaton‘ or ‘Tetragrama‘ , a Greek word that means ‘composed of four letters’. It refers to the four Hebrew words Yod, Hey, Waw, Hei.
Yahweh is the memorial name that the Creator revealed to Moses at the burning bush and to al His servants since Creation. This name is a Hebrew verbal form that means ‘to be’. The name Yahweh expresses the absolute permanence nature of the Creator. In Judaism it is considered as the name that expresses His Rachem (compassion), while Elohei is the title that expresses His justice. Nobody gave Him that name rather, He chose it for Himself. Many have known this Sacred Name in an erroneous form like ‘Jehovah’ (which means RUIN, DISASTER) which is a corruption of the True Original Name.
Any Christian or Jewish Bible Dictionary indicates how the word ‘Jehovah’ was produced in the middle ages and how it was popularised thanks to a catholic monk called Petrus Galatinus.
It is also false that the original pronunciation of the Tetragrama has been lost. The Jewish Encyclopaedia tells  us that it was “never lost” (How would this be possible?). All the evidence gathered up to date shows that in antiquity it was pronounced YAHWEH, as it is still pronounced today by the shomronites (Samaritans), that never have abided by the rabbinic prohibitions concerning its pronunciation . This name is also combined with other words in the Kitvei HaKodesh to form compound titles :
Yahweh EloheiAlmighty Yahweh [Bereshith (Genesis) 2:4]
Yahweh YirehYahweh sees or provides [Bereshith (Genesis) 22:14]
Yahweh NissiYahweh is my standard or my sign of power [Shemoth (Exodus) 17:15]
Yahweh ShalomYahweh is peace [Shofetim (Judges) 6:24]. ‘Shalom means well-being, health, peace.
Yahweh  TzidkeinuYahweh is our justice [Yirmeyah (Jeremiah) 33:16]
Yahweh RofechaYahweh heals [Shemoth (Exodus) 15:26]
Yahweh Tzva’osYahweh of the armies [Shemu’el Aleph (1 Samuel) 1:11]
Yahweh OseinuYahweh our Maker [Tehillim (Psalms) 95:6]

YAH – is the short form of Yahweh (יהוה). It has the same meaning as יהוה and it is used approximately 40 times in the Kitvei HaKodesh.

Tehillim (Psalms) 122:3-4
3 Yerushalayim is built As a city that is bound together,
4 Where the tribes have come up, The tribes of Yah, A witness to Yisra’ĕl, To give thanks to the Name of יהוה.

It is also found in the compound word HALLELU-YAH, which means “Give Praise to Yah“.
Although modern Jews astain from pronouncing the Name of יהוה they may freely pronounce the Name ‘Yah‘ and, in fact, this name appears in traditional Jewish hymns, such as the canticle ‘Yah Ribbon“.

According to Judaism:
ADONAI is the rabbinic substitute of the Tetragrama. They say that it is an emphatic form of the word “Adon”,  which means “master” or “Lord”. They translate Adonai generally as “Lord”, however it is mistaken because it derives from the baalim (pagan gods) names. The Sovereign would be a more accurate  translation for the word Yah.
ADON – means “master” [Yeshayah (Isaiah) 10:33]. It is applied in the Kitvei HaKodesh when referring to the Creator, to men and to angels.
