For the vast majority of Christians (roughly 2.7 billion people), the Good News is that their ‘Jesus’ came into the world, died on the cross, and rose from the grave. However, the message that Yeshua proclaimed across Yisra’el was that the kingdom of Yahweh had arrived (Luke 17:21).
He said <the kingdom of YAHWEH is in your midst> because the King was in their midst.
We will explore the different aspects of the coming Kingdom of Yahweh in a series of articles.
We have learned through revelations given by the Creator to humanity that the entire universe is governed by laws. Without laws, there can be no order or harmony in the universe. And that is what it is based on, on the concept that it is impossible for any system, whatever it may be, to function without physical and moral laws and laws relating to ethics, morality, and so on. The Eternal also created a government here, and he was not going to rule directly on this planet because He is an invisible Spirit to us, not only that, we could not see Him and continue living. Therefore, He organized a system of government on this planet. That government began with a couple, the man, and the woman that He created from the earth. He made the man from clay, and He brought out the woman out from man’s body. They were the appointed rulers on this planet to govern it. The government was given to Adam and Hawwah (Eve). They were created not only as human beings for no reason, rather they were created to rule this world.
MANKIND WAS CREATED TO RULE THE EARTH
Genesis 1:26-28 [The Scriptures 2009 - TS 2009] 26 And Elohim said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock, and over all the earth and over all the creeping creatures that creep on the ground.” 27 And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them. 28 And Elohim blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Be fruitful and increase, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over all creeping creatures on the earth.” (Words of the Eternal in blue)
<Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness>: He is talking to the heavenly court. Other theories have emerged afterward, such as He was speaking to the other members of the ‘Trinity’. Some use this verse as proof of the ‘Trinity’. He was speaking to much more than a ‘trinity’. He was speaking to the celestial court, the one that governs the universe.
<rule over the fish of the sea . . . >: in other words dominate those ‘governments’. Dominating has to do with government. They, Adam and Hawwah, were going to be the permanent rulers, perhaps perpetual, of this planet. That was the plan. Humankind had the power to rule over the fish of the sea, etc.
<Elohim created the man in His image> :
Elohim: in Hebrew literally Mighty One
Man: refers to human being (man and woman)
<fill the earth>: that was the original plan, to fill this earth with human beings.
THE CREATOR
COMMANDED AND AUTHORISED
MAN TO RULE OVER ALL THE CREATURES ON EARTH
So, humankind became the crown of creation. The Creator blessed them by making them like Him. There are those out there who have the crazy idea that the Creator was both male and female at the same time. That is nonsense. Man was created in the divine image in the spiritual sense, and, mentally, with the qualities and capacities to create, to build, to do things. That is what it means: that he was created in the image of the Creator. But we must not forget that when He said, “Let us make man”, He did not say, “I am going to make man”. It was said in the plural. That has nothing to do with a ‘trinity’. It has to do with the judgement-seat of the universe (Revelation 4).
Man and woman were created with an intelligence similar to that of the Creator. He also made them sovereign owners of this planet. And not only owners, but rulers. Therefore, whose earth is this? First it belongs to the Creator, obviously He created it, but subsequently, this planet belongs to man and woman, to humankind. This is our planet. We were placed here as stewards to manage this world. After man sinned, first the woman and then her husband, under whose control was this earth placed?
Psalm 115: 15-16 [TS 2009] 15 You are blessed by יהוה{Yahweh}, Who made the heavens and earth. 16 The heavens are the heavens of יהוה; But He has given the earth to the children of men.
Yahweh owns the universe and the owner of this earth is man, the Creator gave it to him, in Hebrew it says, to the sons of men, an expression that means human beings.
Furthermore, in the book of Acts we see:
Acts 17:26 [TS 2009]
And He has made from one blood (Adam) every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, having ordained beforehand the times and the boundaries of their dwelling,
This means that humankind was not created to live in heaven, to live on other planets or other dimensions. So that religious idea and that religious hope of going to heaven, that when the Messiah comes he is going to take us to heaven. This belief is an invention of modern religion. The people of Yisra’el never had that idea.
MANKIND WAS CREATED TO LIVE ON THIS EARTH NOT IN HEAVEN
This site uses the term Yisra’el is used regarding the people of the Eternal in ancient and modern times;
it is also a spiritual dimension and does not refer to the modern-day nation called Israel.
Heaven belongs to spirit beings. Mankind is not going to live anywhere except planet earth. We are not prepared or created to live anywhere else. The Messiah taught his disciples that in the Kingdom of Yahweh, there are no national borders or castes (social divisions). The divisions of humanity into nations is a creation of human beings. The Messiah sent his disciples to go to all nations to carry the message he brought from the Creator to this world, and he made no distinction of nations. At first, there was an obvious distinction within the people of Yisra’el, between Jews and Gentles. The Messiah broke with that distinction and told to make disciples of all nations. But only later did they understand that Yeshua’s message was for all nations and all people of every lineage.
Noah and his wife (her name is not mentioned in the Scriptures), had children of different races. This is because the Creator placed in the genes of these two people the capacity to produce different genetic combinations to produce not only different human beings, different in their appearance and other qualities, but also different colour. That is obvious from the history of this world.
Now we will look at Yahweh’s plan and promises regarding this government that we’re talking about. The psalmist Dawid (David) describes the dominion and honour that man received from the Creator. Remember, the word dominion in the Scriptures is generally synonymous or related to government:
Psalm 8:4-6 [Word of Yahweh - WOY]
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with honour and majesty.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
IN SCRIPTURE
DOMINION IS RELATED TO GOVERNMENT
So the government of Adam and Hawwah was going to be total, general, and worldwide. The earth was given to man to be his kingdom. This world is his kingdom, his place not only to live, but to rule. But by giving in to temptation, he fell under the power of Satan. Adam and Eve fell into sin, and they both fell under the dominion, the control of Satan.
2 Peter 2:19 [TS 2009]
promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption – for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him.
AFTER THE FALL IN EDEN THE CONTROL AND DOMINION OF THIS EARTH WAS TRANSFERRED TO SATAN.
And if Satan conquered humanity in Adam and Hawwah, they became servants, slaves of Satan. There is another interesting passage:
Isaiah 45:18 [Hebraic Roots Bible - HRB]
For so says YAHWEH, Creator of the heavens; He is The Elohim, forming the earth and making it; He makes it stand, not creating it empty (in vain), but forming it to be lived in. I am YAHWEH, and compared to Me there is none else.
That was Yahweh’s purpose in creating this planet. He did not make it as an ornament, He made it to be inhabited. That purpose will finally be fulfilled, in the future, when the earth is renewed and freed from sin.
In Psalms we read:
Psalm 37:29 [TS 2009]
The righteous shall inherit the earth, And dwell in it forever.
According to some preachers and teachers, those who are saved will dwell in heaven, however the Scriptures say they will inherit and dwell forever on this earth.
And we read in Revelation:
Revelation 22:3 [HRB]
And there will be no blight (or curses) any more: and the throne of YAHWEH and the Lamb will be in it; and His servants will minister to Him.
We are not going to heaven to live where the Creator lives; it is the other way around. Most preachers do not teach this. Yahweh and His Messiah are coming to earth to live with us forever, their Throne will be here on earth and His servants will serve Him.
YAHWEH AND YESHUA HIS MESSIAH WILL DWELL WITH US ON EARTH
What did the prophet declare about the children or descendants of the people of Yahweh?
Psalm 45:15-16 [HRB] 15 They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall go in to the King's palace. 16 Your sons shall be in the place of your fathers; You will make them for rulers in all the earth.
The Kingdom will be on this earth, the one He made for us. The Scriptures contain the true history of humanity. Some preachers have misinterpreted this with the idea that we are going to live forever in heaven. However, Scripture tells us that we will live forever on a renewed and perfected earth, not in its present state.
THE PLAN FROM THE BEGINNING
Matthew 25:34 [HRB]
Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, the blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
(Words of Yeshua in purple)
This means that since this world was created, it was predestined to be the eternal dwelling place of the human race.
Hebrews 11:9-10 [TS - 2009]
9 By belief (faith) , he (Abraham) sojourned in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Yitshaq and Ya‛aqob, the heirs with him of the same promise,
10 for he was looking for the city having foundations, whose builder and maker is Elohim.
Notice that it does not say that Abraham expected to be taken to heaven to live there for all eternity. He expected a city built on earth with foundations whose architect and builder is Yahweh. That is the city that Revelation chapters 20, 21 and 22 talk about and describe how that city will come down from heaven and settle on this earth. That is where the throne of Yahweh and of the Lamb will be. This is where the mansions that our Saviour went to prepare for us will be, however it is here where he will build it. The passage that speaks of going and preparing a place for us, does not refer to making houses in heaven. It refers to establishing governments for his disciples. And then he says that he will come here to establish that heavenly government. It is a heavenly government, but established in this world. The behaviour of the disciples, as described in what is called the New Testament, provides evidence of that faith.
YESHUA’S MISSION
Psalm 2:6-7
6 “But I, I have set My Sovereign on Tsiyon, My set-apart mountain.”
7 “I inscribe for a law: יהוה has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have brought You forth.
That first king was Dawid, but he is a symbol of the Messiah, the King, to whom this text is remotely applied. In other words, it was applied to Dawid in his time, but when the Messiah comes again, it will be applied to him.
The Messiah is the Son of Yahweh, not as some have mistakenly understood that the Messiah and Yahweh are the same person (being), *(or the second person of a ‘trinity’ or one of the three manifestations of Yahweh). That is a serious mistake.
*(Nazarene Notes addition)
Furthermore:
Psalm 110:1-2
1 A Psalm of David. A declaration of YAHWEH to my Adonai: Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as Your footstool.
2 YAHWEH shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion to rule in the midst of Your enemies.
<A declaration of YAHWEH to my Adonai>: once again we have two characters. Yahweh declares He is the Father of His Son.
Verse 2: applied to Dawid, and it also applies to the Messiah when he comes again to this world. He will dominate, he will rule this world in the midst of his enemies. So, the first thing he is going to do is destroy his enemies. When he establishes his kingdom in this world, he will eliminate all corrupt, wicked, and diabolical characters. Evil people who exist now will be eliminated. This is what that prophesy implies. Dominate in the midst of your enemies. He dominates and he controls.
Psalm 45:6 [Version Israelita Nazarena (AI tranlation)]
“Your divine throne is eternal and forever; the scepter of justice is the scepter of your reign.”
The Jewish Publication Society Old Testament renders Psalm 45:6 as – Thy throne given of God is for ever and ever; a sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
This prophetic statement cannot apply to any human being other than the Messiah.
Some translations render this verse as ‘your throne, O God’. Some even use this verse to imply that the Messiah is God. The Hebrew word used here, «Elohim», means powerful. Whatever it is, whoever it is, it means powerful. There are powerful and divine beings: the Father first, then the Son and all the beings that make up the heavenly tribunal who are also Elohim (powerful ones).
What is powerful in this passage is the throne of the Messiah. It says, ‘Your mighty throne is eternal and forever’. When mankind fell under the dominion, under the power of Satan through deception, this world passed into the hands of Satan. Therefore, since the Messiah has not yet returned to establish heavenly government on earth, who is influencing and dominating millions of people in this world towards corruptions and all kinds of transgressions. It is Satan who incites humanity to commit transgressions against Yahweh.
Sha’ul (Paul) calls Satan ‘the god of this world’ in:
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 [HRB]
3 But, if our good news is being hidden, it has been hidden to those who are lost,
4 to those whose eyes have been blinded by the god of this world, because they did not believe, lest the light of the glorious good news of the Messiah, who is the image of YAHWEH, should shine on them.
But the Messiah is also designated to overthrow, in a human sense, the rule of Satan and establish the heavenly rule of the Father Yahweh. So he will redeem mankind, he will deliver them from the dominion of Satan. What the first Adam lost will be recovered by the second Adam (the Messiah). Sha’ul says in one of his letters (Romans) that just as sin entered through one man, salvation and restoration will also enter through one man, Yeshua the Messiah. And he will regain dominion, control of this world so that Satan will cease to be the ‘god’ of this world.
As of now, this world is dominated by diabolical satanic influences which is why we see so much corruption, so much perversion, so much sin in the people this world.
WE MUST WORSHIP YAHWEH AND HONOUR YESHUA
Psalm 2:11-12 [Version Israelita Nazarena (AI tranlation)]
11 Serve Yahweh with reverence; rejoice with awe.
12 Honour the Son, lest He be angry and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.
In other words, there are two types of attitudes we need to have towards the Father and towards the Son. We are to serve Yahweh and honour the Son. The Son is honoured as a king is honoured. We are to are to worship Yahweh the Father, but also to honour and not worship the Son as King.
John 5:23 [HRB]
so that all may honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. The one not honouring the Son does not honour the Father who has sent Him.
And then
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no other man, for neither is there any other name under Heaven having been given among men by which we must be saved.
Luke, the author of the book of Acts, recorded what the apostle Kepha (Peter) preached. This was said after introducing Yeshua as some say, to the people. There are good men, pastors, teachers, leaders, but they cannot save us. Our sinfulness is what has degraded us. Our human imperfection makes it impossible for us to be perfectly righteous. We can be righteous before our bothers, but before Yahweh the Creator, the bar is very high. We can never be righteous or perfect before the Father.
This is what the Messiah tells the repentant sinner:
John 14:6 [TS 2009]
. . . I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
And in:
John 6:37
and the one who comes to Me, I shall by no means cast out (drive away).
Our invitation is to come to the Messiah, the King of Yisra’el, the Son of the Almighty, Yeshua.
